Chris grew up in a Christian home, attended Christian Schools all the way through high school, and attended church every time the doors were open. However, it was not until he was 21 years old that he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior while working at Northland Camp and Conference Center in Dunbar, Wisconsin.
Chris attended Pensacola Christian College where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Education in 1997. In the summer of 1999, Chris met his wife, Heather, while again working at Northland Camp, and they were married in 2000. Feeling the Lord’s call to preach, he returned to Pensacola Theological Seminary where he graduated in 2004 with a Master's Degree in Bible Exposition. He was ordained to the Gospel Ministry later in 2004. Since 1997 Chris has served as a Christian School teacher, Christian camp worker, Youth Leader, Youth Pastor, Bus worker, and a variety of other youth-related positions. Feeling the Lord’s leading to change direction in his ministry focus, he has come to work full-time as the Executive Director of Spark of Grace Ministries, Inc., on January 10, 2011.
